WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AND DO YOU TRAVEL? I am located just outside of Picton in Prince Edward County. I also spend time in Toronto and Ottawa, and am equally happy to work in and around these cities and in other parts of Ontario. If you are planning on something further afield, I would love to chat about it too!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING PHOTOGRAPHY? I got my first "big kid" camera as a young adult on my way to live in France for a year back in 2010. Weddings quickly became my favourite thing to document.

WHAT KIND OF WEDDINGS DO YOU SHOOT? All kinds! Large, small, religious, non-religious, queer, you name it. Love is love, period.

I HAVE A LARGE FAMILY, WILL I BE ABLE TO GET PHOTOS WITH ALL OF THEM? Absolutely. While I would describe my shooting style as photojournalistic, family photos are still important on a wedding day for most people. In the weeks ahead of the wedding we will work together to create a list of all family or group photo combinations you want. This will help me to plan my time and fit these shots into a busy day.

SHOULD I HAVE SPECIFIC POSES IN MIND? Definitely not. It's my job to guide you and capture your story, you don't need to stress about any of that. That being said, if there is an Insta-worthy pose you found online that you love, we can definitely try to recreate it.

THERE'S A COOL SPOT NEAR THE VENUE, CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS THERE AS WELL? For sure. We can work together to make sure we allocate enough time for everything that you want.

DO YOU BRING A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER TO SHOOT WITH YOU AT WEDDINGS? A second photographer can be easily arranged. While I often work alone and trust myself to capture the spontaneity and awesomeness of your day, some couples prefer having two photographers. I have a network of photographers in the area that I would happily coordinate with if this is the case for you.

SHOULD WE DO AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION? While not necessary, it's often a worthwhile investment as it allows you to get comfortable in front of the camera and to build chemistry with the photographer (plus you end up with beautiful shots to use as you build a website or create invites). Getting to know you both and how you interact with each other will help me better capture your personalities at the wedding.

DO YOU BACK UP ALL OF OUR PHOTOS? Most definitely. While I'm shooting, the images get saved onto two cards to ensure proper back up. Afterwards, your photos get saved onto multiple devices.

DO YOU ALSO PROVIDE VIDEO? Unfortunately I do not, but I am happy to reach out to my network if you are looking for a videographer.

DO WE HAVE TO PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT? Yes, you do. For weddings, I require a $500 non-refundable initial payment, due at the time we sign our agreement. For elopements, I require a $200 non-refundable initial payment due at the time you sign our agreement. This payment reserves my time and I will no longer be advertising availability of this time to any other potential clients.

DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS? Yes! After the initial payment, we can work out a payment plan that works for you - as long as your balance is paid within a week following the wedding.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE GET? Every wedding, elopement and session is different but on average, I tend to deliver 75+ photos per hour.

WHEN WILL WE GET OUR WEDDING PHOTOS? You'll receive your photos no later than one month from the date of your wedding. However, I totally understand the anticipation of seeing the photos so I do my best to deliver as soon as possible. You will also receive some "sneak peeks" shortly after the big day to quench your thirst for photos.
