SNAPSHOT: Chuck & Ali's Roncesvalles Engagement Shoot

These two lovebirds are long-time friends of mine who recently got engaged in BC and who have an incredibly playful demeanor. I was thrilled that we could find some time to do a short engagement shoot before the leaves all disappeared. Bouncing back and forth between Prince Edward County and Toronto as a wedding photographer does place some limitations on weekend availability, but I do love trying to capture the essence of these two places that are so close to my heart.
Chuck & Ali's small family is never complete without their trusty sidekick Rhubarb. (Though Ali may say that Chuck is her and Rhubarb’s sidekick…) She joined us during the photoshoot and was, at times, featured prominently.
Their condo is in the super trendy Roncesvalles neighbourhood and overlooks all of the action in its cute village. Up on the building’s roof there is a spectacular view of the city and the iconic CN tower. Before venturing out to take some engagement photos in High Park, we snapped a few shots in their unit and around their building. Rhubarb could not wait to get outside!
Eventually, we made our way to High Park and ran around in the bright yellow leaves. Poor Ali sullied her white kicks after stepping in dog poop. (Pick up after your dogs people!) She managed to brush it off and regain her enthusiasm for the shoot very quickly.
Our friend group cannot be happier for these two and, frankly, it took them long enough! I am so lucky to have them in my life, as are our two kiddos who are spoiled with love by their chosen Auntie and Uncle.
